Welcome to Wisdom Tree Therapy — You Found the Right Place
The people I work with are often going through significant life transitions — wrestling with anxiety that won't quiet down, the long shadow of past trauma, depression that makes ordinary days feel like a marathon, or relationship patterns they can't seem to escape no matter how hard they try.
If you're reading this, something brought you here. Maybe it's a feeling you can't quite name, a pattern you keep finding yourself stuck in, or a weight you've been carrying quietly for too long. Whatever it is — I'm glad you're here.
This is Wisdom Tree Therapy, and this post is simply meant to say: welcome.
Who I Work With
I'm Stacey Stefanski, a licensed professional counselor offering virtual therapy to Missouri residents.
The people I work with are often going through significant life transitions — wrestling with anxiety that won't quiet down, the long shadow of past trauma, depression that makes ordinary days feel like a marathon, or relationship patterns they can't seem to escape no matter how hard they try.
If any of that resonates with you, you're not alone — and you're in the right place.
What Working Together Actually Looks Like
I'll be honest: I'm not the "sit quietly and nod" type of therapist. I show up curious, engaged, and yes — I'll bring humor into the room when it fits, because healing doesn't have to feel like a somber march. Some of the most meaningful breakthroughs I've witnessed with clients came wrapped in a laugh.
What I offer is a space that is genuinely safe, warm, and respectful — where you can say the things you've never said out loud, without fear of being judged or dismissed. You set the pace. I'll walk alongside you.
Why Online Therapy Works
One of the most common things I hear from new clients is that they didn't realize how accessible therapy could be. No lengthy waitlists, no commute, no sitting in a waiting room. Through a HIPAA-compliant virtual platform, you can connect from your home, your car, your lunch break — wherever feels comfortable and private.
Most new clients are able to get an appointment scheduled within just a couple of weeks. Because the truth is, waiting to address emotional pain only lets it grow.
Taking That First Step
Here's what I want you to know before you reach out: seeking support is not a sign of weakness. The fact that you're here — reading this, considering it — already says something about your courage and self-awareness.
You deserve to have your story heard. You deserve a real path forward.
Whether you're ready to schedule your first session or just want to learn a little more, I'd love to hear from you. Let's talk about what healing could look like for you.
Wisdom Tree Therapy provides virtual counseling to Missouri residents. Sessions are $125 out of pocket, with in-network coverage available through Aetna, Anthem BCBS, Cigna, United Healthcare, and several others.
